CAPITAL ONE SPARK BUSINESS CHECKING

In 2013, Capital One Bank launched three new business checking products. This acquisition piece was meant to introduce these new products, focusing on how the checking accounts were developed with the lives of busy small business owners in mind…thus these accounts are more streamlined and time-saving. I crafted the headlines, found the cover image, and generated the body copy. With this slightly humorous image driving recipients to open the self-mailer, we were able to land a substantial number of new customers. This piece was also featured in the end-of-year marketing presentation for full-time associates at their corporate headquarters.

CAPITAL ONE SPARK BUSINESS UNLIMITED CHECKING

In 2013, Capital One Bank launched three new business checking products. This acquisition piece focused on Unlimited Checking, utilizing the theme of “Partnership” to illustrate how well this checking product will work with the customer’s business. I teamed with two art directors to come up with the gatefold design and its mylar envelope with one clear side. I also crafted the headlines and body copy. By using a unique look and feel, this piece enabled Capital One to exceed the targeted number of new customers for this project.

CAPITAL ONE MEDICAL PRACTICE ACQUISITIONS

In 2012, Capital One Bank was looking to expand its small business customers within the medical practice arena. I worked with an art director to develop this unique package designed to look like a doctor’s bag. The inside has the appearance of stainless steel, another element you would find within a medical practice. My role was to create the headlines and body copy, which required gleaning the most important products, services, and procedures from a huge amount of product material and rewording it in our brand voice. Capital One not only had great success acquiring new medical practices, but also opened multiple consumer accounts for the doctors, administrators, and nurses from those practices.

DMX, INC "PROJECT RETRO" CROSS-SELL                                                       

DMX's "Project Retro" was a direct marketing campaign where current clients were cross-sold one of our other products. Each client was sent either a Turntable, ViewMaster, Telephone Handset that plugged into your cell phone, or a Volkswagen Microbus. Each piece tied into one of DMX's branding services: music, video, audio messaging, and scent. The retro items were sent in special packaging that included a postcard promoting that specific DMX service. I created the text for the website & postcards, and also came up with the "Bring Your Brand To Life" slogan for the campaign. Once I provided the copy, DMX's graphic designer created the print and web pieces.
